my computer (a secondhand laptop) has low memory and since i can't afford to buy some for the time being, it's just something i have to put up with. firefox is really shitting me though, since it randomly decides to use up all the memory and i occasionally have to force it closed with task manager. i only use 2 or 3 tabs most of the time, and use about 5 addons. maybe i should be disabling those, but i'd miss them. or looking for a better browser.
i could try to rebuild the hard drive without windows, since running xp on 128mb ram is also an issue. a lot of bother though, i'm not confident i can do it without majorly screwing it up and since i don't have the setup discs i'd lose everything.
i just hope i can deal with it somehow before i throw the laptop across the room next time firefox crashes :P
